If you’re considering a run for political office or working on a political campaign, you should register for this dynamic event. The instructors are experts and thought leaders in political campaigns. They will discuss the nuts and bolts of building a successful campaign team and how to avoid the pitfalls that can doom a campaign. This training will provide attendees with critical elements of campaigning, including:

Assemblywoman Bichotte will be taking through the fundamental elements necessary to run for office, the importance of political identity and Message Development and Delivery - Translating your identity into a stump speech.
Ms. Ayon will talk about how to build a base and how to activate it. You will learn how to convert Fans to Supporters. She will also provide an overview of the VAN software.
Ms. Henderson-Rivers will discuss the process of building your campaign team. Additionally, she will provide an overview of C-Smart, Compliance, Ethics and Post-Campaign Compliance.
Ms. Akyempong will teach on the importance of labor endorsement, what does labor endorsement mean, and how to go about obtaining a labor endorsement.
Ms. Spigner will discuss the importance of volunteering and allying with local civic organizations and political clubs. Ms. Spigner will teach on how to seek political club endorsements and the political club endorsement process.he political club endorsement process.
